Alex segit vacsorat fozni.

Daniella felprobalt minden sapkat es kesztyut. Keszen allunk a telre.

Daniella tried all the hats and mitts and scarves. All ready for winter now.

Ha mar az Alexrol toltottem, itt van egy a Nikirol is. A masik ket lany az Alexa es a Sarah. Figyeld az Alexa (kek nadragban) mennyire komolyan veszi. Nyilvan sokszok nezte mar a filmet. Lesz meg belole valami. :)

Well, if I put a video up about Alex, here's one about Niki too. She is dancing with Alexa and Sarah. Watch how seriously Alexa is dancing (in the blue pants). I think she's seen the movie way too many times. :)

09.20.2007 Csutortok

Megkezdodott az uszas. Egesz delutant azzal toltottem, hogy a Daniellat kergettem a lelaton a medence korul. 1/2 6-tol 7-ig usztak az Alexek. Hosszu volt a mai nap.

Alex and Niki's swimming lessons started again. I got to chase and entertain Daniella from 5:30 till 7pm on the viewing gallery. It was a very long day.

09.15.2007 -09.16.2007 Szombat, Vasarnap

Nem volt idom irni edding. Ezek a kepek a mult het vegen keszultek. A Niki baratnoje Sarah, aki egesz nyaron Guatemalaban volt spanyolul tanulni, eljott jatszani. Hetfon utaznak Peruba, ahonnan csak 3 ev mulva jonnek vissza. Mivel a lanyok majus ota nem lattak egymast nagy volt az orom. Olyan furcsa, hogy mikor ok egyutt jatszanak semmi veszekedes, vita vagy nezetelteres sincs. Mindenben olyan egyforman gondolkodnak. Egyik sem nyavog, nyafog. Attol a pillanattol fogva mikor eloszor talalkoztak, az iskola elokeszito elso napjan, 5 evesen, legjobb baratnok. Niki tobbszor is sirt mert Sarah elkoltozik. Megigertuk, hogy redszeresen irunk levelet. Ma (csutortokon) Sarah bement az iskolaba ott is elkoszonni. Niki ugy orult hogy megegyszer lathatta. Mondta, hogy azert sirt megint mikor el kellett koszonni, es a buszon hazafele is nagyon szomoru volt.
Mult szombaton itt aludt Sarah. Felfujtuk a matracot a nappaliba, volt pattogatott kukorica, tv nezes, parna-csata meg minden. Az egyik kepen az Emma van aki szinten itt volt delutan egy kicsit, meg Alexa is volt itt egy orat. Nagy volt a joves-menes mult hetvegen.

I didn't have time to write earlier, so I have to fill in a little about the pictures below. Niki's best friend Sarah came over on Saturday. She stayed overnight. We blew up the camping mattress, set it up in the family room. They had a movie, popcorn and even a pillow fight. Sarah was away in Guatemala all summer, they haven't seen each other since May. Next Monday they will be leaving for 3 years to Peru. They have been best friends since kindergarten. They share a birthday, and are so much alike it's funny. They always play together nice, never a fight, a disagreement, no whining. Niki has been very sad to say good-bye to Sarah. I have found her crying in her room a few times. She was happy to see Sarah one more time today in school (Thursday) as she came for a visit. She told me she had to cry again when she left and felt very sad on the bus home. I hope they can keep in touch by mail and emails.

09.14.2007 Pentek

Elfelejtettem, hogy van egerunk. A pinceben talaltunk 3 bebi egeret. A csovekben voltak, most raktunk egerfogot, hogy ha van meg akkor megfogjuk oket mielott a futest bekapcsoljuk.

I forgot to mention we have mice. We found 3 baby mice in our basement ducts. We bought some mice traps hoping to catch them if there's any more there before heating season starts.

09.14.07 Pentek

A terv az volt, hogy majd toltok fel tobb kepet meg irok az utolso satorozasrol, de nem volt idom.
Azota elkezdodott az iskola. Az Alex 4.-es a Niki 2.-os. A Nikit eloszor egy vegyes osztalyba tettek, ahol 2. es 3. osztalyosok vannak egyutt egy tanarral. Ezt azert csinaljak, hogy ne legyen tul sok gyerek egy osztalyba (probaljak 20 alatt tartani a letszamaot) es igy a kimaradt 6 2.-os gyereket osszetettek az egyik 3. osztallyal. A tanar tanit 2.-os anyagot a 2.-osoknak, 3.-os anyagot a 3.-osoknak. Nem orultem neki, de mivel a Niki orult hogy azt a tanart kapta akit kapott, elfogadtam. Erre a 2. heten felhivott az igazgato, hogy sikertult a 6db 2.-os gyereket a tobbi 2. osztalyba atteni. Igy a Nikinek uj tanarja van 1 het iskola utan. Hetfon lesz talalkozo a tanarokkal delutan.

My plan was to upload more pictures from our camping trip and to write, but never had time since last Friday.
I forgot to write about school starting. Alex is in 4th grade, Niki in 2nd this year. Niki was put into a split 2/3 class at first. I wasn't too happy about it, but she liked her teacher so it was ok. As long as she is happy, I'm happy. :) Then this week they called me to tell me they shuffled the kids around and found room for them in the 2nd grades, so they moved her.
Monday is open house at the school.
