We went to visit our friend at the shop where Sandor used to work. His ex-boss lives upstairs in this house. In the lobby of the shop he has a car that was made in Germany in 1936, and an old Hungarian made bike.

I met two of my high school classmated today, who I haven't seen since graduation. Betti has one son, Andi has 2 daughters. We chatted for a long time, had a lot to catch up on.

Finally sleeping on the plane from Toronto to Zurich. She slept about an hour from the 7 1/2 hour long flight.

As picky of an eater as she is, Daniella loves any meat on a bone. She will keep asking for more "bone". Ribs are one of her favourite.



Igaz nagyon valogatos Daniella, de az olyan hust ami csonton van, nagyon szereti. Itt epp bordat eszik.

Spring is here. The park behind our house is packed with kids. It's so nice that they have a place to play and I can see them from the window.

My new hobby. Bread baking.
I've been experimenting with lots of different types of bread over the last few weeks. I made my own sourdough starter from only flour and water that I had to keep "alive" by "feeding" it regulary. After a week of getting the starter ready I finally baked my first sourdough bread (only using the starter, no yeast). It wasn't a complete success didn't rise as high as a yeast bread would, but I really liked the flavour.

Az internetnek koszonhetoen rengeteg receptet lehet talalni, meg kovaszos kenyeret is sutottem itthon keszitett kovaszbol, eleszto nelkul. Finom volt, de meg kell kiserletezni vele.

February 28, 2009 - Allergic reaction

Daniellanak megint torokgyulladasa volt a mult heten es kapott mas fajta antibiotikumot mint szokott, mivel egy honapja is volt neki, hatha ez jobban hat.
Szombaton reggel panaszkodott, hogy viszket a hasa, estere mar az egesz teste be volt boritva nagy piros foltokkal, amin kicsi feher pottyok voltak.
Adtunk neki allergiara gyogyszert, de gyorsan ki is hanyta.
Az orvos azt mondta, lehet hogy nem a gyogyszertol van kicsattogva, mivel a torokgyulladas maga is okozhat ilyet es a hanyast is. Igy nem tudjuk a gyogyszer valltotta ezt ki vagy sem. De mindenesetre legkozelebb figyelni kell ha megint ezt kapja.



Daniella had strep throat again last week. She got different antibiotics then usual as she had strep throat last month too and the dr thought maybe this will work better.
Saturday morning she woke up complaining she was itchy, by the afternoon she was covered in hives and by the evening she was throwing up.
According to her dr, it might or might not be a reaction to the medication. Could just be caused by the bacteria causing strep throat. We will have to watch her next time she gets the same antibotics.
