I thought I try to write an update on what happened since we got back from Hungary.
Things are back to normal. Work, school, daycare.

Reka and her family came over for a visit last week, Reka's Dad was here visiting and he came too. Hanna is still so tiny. I think at 3 1/2 months she is about the size of Alex at birth. At least that's what it felt like holding her. Her hands are still so tiny. She is smiling a lot and makes a lot of sounds too.
I got scedules for Alex and Niki's baseball & softball. We will be very busy this summer.

A mult heten Rekaek eljottek latogatoba, Reka apukaja is itt volt. Hanna meg mindig olyan picike. 3 1/2 honaposan akkora mint az Alex szuletesekor volt. Olyan aranyos picurka kezei es ujjai vannak. Mar sokat mosolyog es gagyog is.
A heten megkaptam az Alex es Niki baseball es softball beosztasat a nyarra. Azt hiszem nem sok szabadidonk lesz.

April 17, 2009 Back to Canada

Getting everyone up at 3am.

Ebreszto hajnali 3-kor.

Arriving at the airport. We found out that our plane that was suppose to leave at 7:20am, was changed to 7:40am and was departing from the other terminal. This reduced our time in Zurich to changed planes from 1 hour to 40 minutes. Then the plane took off even later from Budapest.


Repuloterre erkezes. Mikor megerkeztunk, megtudtuk a gepunk ami 7:20-kor indult volna, at lett rakva 7:40-re. Ez lecsokkentette az atszallasra juto idot Zurichben 1 orarol 40 percre. Raadasul a gep Pestrol meg 10 percel kesobb szallt fel.

This is Sandor's 82 year old aunt. We visited her with the kids.

Ez a Sanyi 82 eves nagynenije, Irenke. Ma ot latogattuk meg.

Later in the evening we went out to eat with our friends Sanyi and Orsi. We went to a restaurant called "Regimodi" which means old fashioned. They cook traditional Hungarian food and the restaurant was decorated with a lot of antique items. The food was really good.

April 13, 2009 - Easter Monday

Daniella coloring some eggs. This year we used a thicker color and put the eggs in a plastic bags instead of coloring them in cups. They just had to rub the paint on the eggs. It was much less messy to do with kids.

Daniella festi a tojast. A szinezeket a zacskoban levo tojasra kellett csepegtetni, majd bedorzsolni. Ez igy eleg egyszeru volt a gyerekekkel.

Girls are eating some chocolate eggs, while the real ones dry.

A lanyok addig csoki tojast esznek amig az festett tojasok szaradnak.

Emma bought some presents for her cousins. Alex thanking her for it.

April 12, 2009 - Szarvas

Today we visited some our friends the Csasztvan family. They live in Szarvas.

Ma a Csasztvan csaladot latogattuk meg Szarvason.

This is their pet turtle. Those are Alex's hand, so you can see how tiny this is.

We all went to the market in the morning, hoping to see baby chicks or ducks. There were none. We went to fill out some lottery tickets later, here the girls are picking numbers.

Reggel a piacra mentunk, remeltuk, hogy lesz kiscsibe, kiskacsa, de egy sem volt. Utana a lottozoba mentunk, ahol a lanyok lottot toltottek ki.

I attempted to make cotton candy. It was very slow, the kids could not wait for their turns.

Probaltunk vattacukrot csinalni, jo lassan ment, a gyerekek alig tudtak kivarni.
