A heten kedden uszas volt, szerdan az Alex-nak baseball, csutortokon pedig az iskolaban volt nyitott nap.
We had a busy week. Swim on Tuesday, Baseball on Wednesday, open house in the school on Thursday.

Niki csinalt egy kis ajandektaskat, amiben szinezett kagylok voltak.

Niki az osztalyaban. A tanarneni csupa jot mondott a Nikirol. Allitolag okos, aranyos. Ki gondolta volna? Azt mondta, hogy mindig gyorsan kesz van a munkajaval. Azt is mondta, hogy mindig elolep, "vezeti" a tobbi gyereket. Mikor kesz a sajat munkajaval, megy segiteni masnak. Mindig kerdezi a tanarnenit kell-e segiteni valamiben.
Sajnos eleg sok rosszhirt hallok Nikitol arrol, hogy mi tortenik az osztalyban. Nemreg az egyik fiu karomkodott, kiabalt a tanarral, utana elkezdte a szekeket hajigalni. Most a heten meg Niki meselte, hogy az egyik lany az osztalyban nem akart csinalni valamit amit a tanar kert tole, es elkezdte a tanart rangatni, lokdosni, karomkodni. A vegen a tanarneni sirva szaladt ki az osztalybol es az igazgatonak kellet bejonnie az osztalyba. A tanarneni eleg fiatal, meg csak masodik eve tanit, es nagyon nem tud rendet tartani. Persze a gyerekek ezt megerzik, es csak azert is kikeszitik.
Niki's classroom. Her teacher praised her, how good she is, how she always listens, finishes her work quickly, and she also told me how she is kind of a "leader" in her class. Which suprised me a little. I always thought she is a little more shy, not really a "leader" type. She said when she finishes her work, she goes over to help other kids. She is always asking if there's anything she can help with.
Unfortunately I heard some not so good news about her class. A little while ago, one of the boys in the class didn't want to do some work, and started swearing and throwing chairs, now this week a girl (who I think threw Niki's shoes away first week of school), didn't want to do something, and started shoving and pushing the teacher and swear. The teacher ended up running out of the classroom crying. She is a young teacher, only her second year of teaching, and I think really don't know how to handle a bunch of 8 year olds. The kids of course sense it and all act up. I wonder how much learning is really going on in the classroom, with such extreme behaviour problems. I've never heard anything like this from any of Alex's classes or Niki's before this year.

Alex baseball edzese szerda este. Nagyon hideg volt. Alex egesz jo volt, ahhoz kepest, hogy az iden jatszik eloszor. A lenyeg az, hogy elvezi, akarja csinalni.
Wednesday night Baseball practice. It was so cold. Alex did pretty good. For someone playing for the fist time, he isn't too bad, and most importantly he seems to really enjoy it.
