Ma hosszu napunk volt. Daddy dolgozott delutan igy megint egyedul vittem uszni az Alexekat.
Hazafele vettem McDonald's kajat, igy nem kellett fozni. Alexek jottek a busszal 4-kor, gyorsan ettunk, atoltoztek, majd 5-re mentunk uszni. Amig ok usztak, addig en a Daniellaval mentem kinn egy kort, mert nagyon szep volt az ido es igy egyszerubb volt mint benn a medence mellett kergetni. Az uszas 6-ig lett volna de mi eljottunk 3/4 6-kor, mivel az iskolaban 5:30-tol nyitott haz volt. Mire feloltoztunk es odaertunk igy is majdnem 1/2 7 volt. Eloszor az Alex osztalyaba mentunk, nem sokat beszeltem az o tanarnenijevel, de megneztem amiken az Alex mostanaban dolgozott. Meglepodtem, hogy milyen matekot csinaltak, mivel haza alig hoz valamit. A tanarneni megint csupa jot mondott rola, es hogy nem aggodik azon, hogy 3 hetig odalesz. Mikor visszamegyunk, akkor lesz a 3. oszalyos megyei felmeres, es a tanar szerint az Alex-al nem lesz semmi gond.
Utana a Niki osztalyabe mentunk at. Ott varni kellett egy kicsit, mert az egyik apuka szeret orakat beszelgetni a tanarnenivel, mindenrol, ami nem is iskolai dolog olyanrol is. Persze a Nikirol is csupa jot mondtak, masodikos szinten olvas, nagyon jo matekbol is. Udvarias es mindig segitokesz. Amikor kesz az o munkajaval, akkor szivesen segit masoknak.
Kesobb atmentunk a konyvtarba es vettunk ket uj konyvet. Utana haza, es irany az agy.

Today was a long day. Daddy had to work in the afternoon, so it was just me taking Alex and Niki to swimming. We had McDonalds as soon as they got off the bus at 4pm, then off to swim by 5pm. It's not fun taking them alone and chasing Daniella around for an hour. Luckily it was nice and sunny outside, so I could go for a walk around the block with her. We left swimming a little early and went to the school for their spring open house. First we visited Alex's classroom, where I looked at his work and talked to his teacher a bit. I was suprised a bit how much match they're doing as he brings very little and easy work home. His teacher wasn't worried at all about him missing 3 weeks of school, even though they're having their grade 3 provincial testing as soon as we get back. We visited Niki's classroom next, where we had to wait for one of the fathers who was briefing the teacher about his daughter. I couldn't help overhearing how well his daughter is doing and how smart she is. I guess he doesn't know it's the teacher who is evaluating the kids. Anyhow, after waiting around for a while, I finally got to talk to Mrs. Priestly, who only had good things to say about Niki. She is already reading at a grade 2 level, and is doing very well in math too. She is very polite and helpful, always volunteers to help out when she is done with her own work. We stopped at the library after a got 2 new books.
